Diffusion at the liquid-vapor interface of an aqueous ionic solution utilizing a dual simulation technique

Article Abstract:

A dual simulation technique was proposed with some modification to determine the diffusion of water, chloride ions, and sodium ions at the vapor-liquid interface of 2.2M sodium chloride aqueous ionic solution with a vapor-liquid interface. Results showed that this method gives consistent results, and provides for a well-defined self-confident method to determine diffusion perpendicular to an interface.

Experimental proof for resonant diffusion of normal alkanes in LTL and ZSM-12 zeolites

Article Abstract:

The intra-crystalline diffusion of normal alkanes in LTL and ZSM-12 zeolite are investigated through gravimetric measurements performed at different temperatures. A proof for resonant diffusion is seen when a periodic dependence of the diffusion coefficient on the number of carbon atoms in alkane is detected.

Surface diffusion and coalescence of mobile metal nanoparticles

Article Abstract:

A new integrated overview of the main factors that control the nanoparticle coalescence process is offered. The findings indicate that the liquid like properties of the surface layers of the nanoparticles play an essential role in the process.
