Dynamics of solvation and rotational relaxation of Coumarin 153 in ionic liquid confined nanometer-sized microemulsions

Article Abstract:

The effects of the ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate on solvation dynamics and rotational relaxation of Coumarin 153 (C-153) in Triton X-100/cyclohexane microemulsions are explored using steady-state and picosecond time-resolved emission spectroscopy. The steady-state and rotational relaxation data indicate that C-153 molecules are incorporated in the core of the microemulsions.

Solvation dynamics and rotation of coumarin 153 1in alkylphosphonium ionic liquids

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted, using the time-correlated single-photon counting technique; to examine solvation dynamics and rotation of the solvatochromic probe coumarin 153 in alkylphosphonium ionic liquids. The result reveals the distinct solvation dynamics of ionic liquids based on the large hydrophobic cation.

Stochastic treatment of dye transfer between droplets dispersed in water

Article Abstract:

The stochastic methods used in the theory of micellar solutions, which helps in the development of the model of dye, transfer are studied. This model is used to interpret the results of the experiment conducted, which involve the transfer of coumarin 540 dye molecules.
