Electromagnetic functionalized and core-shell micro/nanostructured polypyrrole composites
Article Abstract:
A novel core-shell micro/nanostructured and electromagnetic functionalized composites of polypyrrole (PPy) are prepared by a self-assembly process in the presence of p-toluenesulfonate (p-TSA) as the dopant, in which the spherical hydroxyl iron acted as the core and the self-assembly PPy nanofibers served as the shell. The micelle model is proposed to describe the self-assembly of the core-shell micro/nanostructured composites and also investigate the effect of the mass ratio of Fe[OH] to pyrrole monomer on the electromagnetic properties.

Polyaniline/TiO2 composite nanotubes
Article Abstract:
The influence of the TiO2 concentration on the morphology, size, molecular structure, electrical properties and hydrophobicity of the polyaniline (PANI)-beta-naphthalenesulfonic acid (beta-NSA)/TiO2 composites nanotubes is reported. The Raman spectra and X-ray diffraction characterization show that the main chain of the composite nanotubes is identical to that of the doped PANI, and indicate that there is no chemical interaction between PANI and TiO2.

Magnetic properties of conducting polymer nanostructures
Article Abstract:
The report of the magnetic susceptibility dimensions on conducting polyaniline and polypyrrole nanostructures with various dopant types and doping levels as functions of temperature and magnetic field is presented. It was observed that the material preparation like dopant type and doping levels and measuring conditions like applied direct current (dc) magnetic field have great impact on the magnetic susceptibilities.
