Evidence of the presence of two different framework Ti(IV) species on Ti-silicate-1 in vacuo conditions: an EXAFS and a photoluminescence study

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to show the presence of two different framework Ti(IV) species in titanium-silicate-1 in vacuo conditions. The titanium sample was synthesized in EniTechnologie laboratories. The SPEX Fluorolog-2 spectrofluormeter supporting a xenon UV-vis-NIR excitation lamp was utilized to record photoluminescence spectra. Experimental results indicated that the titanium sample supported two different luminescent centers.

XRD, XAS, and IR characterization of copper-exchanged Y zeolite

Article Abstract:

Siting of copper ions in Cu(super I)-Y zeolite, prepared via the gas-phase reaction of NH4-Y with CuCI, is investigated using XRPD, XAS and IR spectroscopies. It is observed that approximately total H(super +)/Cu(super +) exchange can be obtained if contact of the sample with atmospheric oxygen is avoided and in addition NO proves to be a sensitive probe not only for cuprous, but also for cupric ions.

Mono-, di-, and tricarbonylic species in copper(I)-exchanged zeolite ZSM-5: comparison with homogeneous copper(I) carbonylic structures

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to analyze the synthesis of (Cu(super I)(CO)(sub n)) species in the channels of a zeolite of MFI network. The samples were outgassed under high dynamic vacuum to remove excess CuCl entrapped inside the zeolite channels. The infrared transmission spectra were the recorded using a Bruker IFS66 Fourier transform infrared spectrometer supporting a cryogenic MCT detector.
