Site-specific dynamics of strands in ss- and dsDNA as revealed by time-domain fluorescence of 2-amionopurine
Article Abstract:
The site-specific dynamics of single-stranded (ss) and double stranded (ds) DNA strands is analyzed by measuring fluorescence lifetime and anisotropy decay kinetics of DNA strands with 2-aminopurine (2-AP) at specific locations. The dynamics of DNA strands is determined by different bases present in the DNA.

Preparation and third-order optical nonlinearity of self-assembled chitonsan/CdSe-ZnS core-shell quantum dots multilayer films
Article Abstract:
The self-assembled chitosan CdSe quantum dots (QDs) and chitosan CdSe--ZnS core--shell QDs films were prepared using layer-by-layer electrostatic technique. The well-ordered nanostructure and the layer -by-layer deposition of the QDs are revealed by AFM and exciton absorption spectra, respectively.
