Article Abstract:
Crop Production Services (CPS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Agrium Inc., and has access to the financial and marketing clout of the $2-billion fertilizer giant. However, Agrium does not interfere in how CPS conducts its business, merely giving CPS certain objectives to meet. CPS has nine division general managers that are responsible for up to 18 facilities. CPS VP Tom Warner says the division managers have the autonomy to make most of the important decisions.
