Synthesis of platinum cluster chains on DNA templates: conditions for a template-controlled cluster growth
Article Abstract:
The conditions which should be fulfilled to grow chains of nanosized noble metal clusters on DNA temlates according to a selectively heterogeneous, template-controlled mechanism is investigated. The described metallizatin procedure can be resolved into a series of simple and efficient steps, which is essential for a biomimetic fabrication of nanostructures in a reproducible way.

Stationary spatial patterns during bulk CO eletrooxidation on platinum
Article Abstract:
A study of pattern formation was conducted which helped to validate the reaction steps that prevail under certain experimental conditions. The measurements revealed that in a low-concentration alkaline supporting electrolyte the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism seemed operative even close to the H-upd region.
