Homonuclear and heteronuclear NMR studies of a statherin fragment bound to hydroxyapatite crystals

Article Abstract:

The analysis of the (super 15)N{(super 31)P} rotational echo double resonance (REDOR) data is extended by examining the contribution of interactions between surface phosphorous atoms to the observed (super 15)N REDOR decay. The (super 31)P-(super 31)P dipolar couplings are incorporated and the method is applied to reanalyze the (super 15)N{(super 31)P} REDOR of the lysine side chain approaching the hydroxyapatite (HAP) surface.

Orientation and electronic structure of the primary donor radical cation P+. 700 in photosystem I: a single crystals EPR and ENDOR study

Article Abstract:

The orientation of the Chl a molecule can be determined from the orientation of the hf tensors of the methyl groups with respect to this axis. The primary donor cation radical P+. 700 were investigated for the first time by EPR/ENDOR techniques in PS I single crystals.

Infrared active methyl group vibrations in tetratetracontane: a probe for chain end organization and crystal structure

Article Abstract:

Varying degrees of chain end and adaptation disorders are assumed to be the causes of different crystal forms. These forms were examined using the conformational responsiveness of numerous infrared active methyl group vibrations.
