Improved photoluminescence properties of ternary terbium complexes in mesoporous molecule sieves
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the luminescent properties of the encapsulated ternary terbium (Tb) complexes in unmodified and modified mesoporous molecule sieves of SBA-15 in comparison with pure complexes including excitation and emission spectra, fluorescence dynamics, photostability under UV exposure, and the temperature dependence of intensity and lifetime was performed. It was inferred that the photoluminescence properties of the Tb complexes improved considerably in SBA-15 than pure complexes.

Characterization of rhodamine 6G aggregates intercalated in solid thin films of laponite clay. 2 Fluorescence spectroscopy
Article Abstract:
A study is carried out on the photoluminescence response of rhodamine 6G (R6G) laser dye that was intercalated into solid thin films of laponite (Lap) clay as a function of dye loading. The characterization of the R6G species into the solid films was done by fluorescence spectroscopy.
