Methanol chemistry on Cu and oxygen-covered Cu nanoclusters supported on TiO2(110)

Article Abstract:

A study of thermal decomposition of methanol is presented on TiO2(110) as well as on Cu and oxygen-covered Cu nanoclusters supported on TiO2(110) using temperature programmed desorption (TPD). Reaction on the oxygen-covered Cu clusters produces formaldehyde, CO2, H2O, and H2 as the main products, and methanol chemistry is the same on clusters of different sizes that covers the surface.

New short aliphatic chain ionic liquids: synthesis, physical properties, and catalytic activity in aldol condensations

Article Abstract:

The new short aliphatic chain ionic liquids are synthesized and the temperature dependence of density, ultrasonic velocities and ionic conductivity are studied. The ionic liquid is recycled from reaction media, thus providing a promising method of process design for this kind of reaction.

Rseaction of aliphatic alcohols on WO3(001) surfaces

Article Abstract:

Reactions of alcohols on reduced oxidised surfaces were conducted. The coverage dependence was attributed to the role of diffusion.
