Nanosized electrochemical cells operated by AFM conducting probes
Article Abstract:
A study of the specific characteristics of molecular conducting single crystal reactions, confined in the water-meniscus nanocells beneath the atomic force microscopy (AFM) probe apex, is presented. The result from this study provides a rational insight into the unique process directed to nanopatterning of the investigated conducting solids.

Fluorescence photoconversion kinetics in novel green fluorescent protein pH sensors (pHluorins)
Article Abstract:
A comprehensive analysis of the fluorescence photoconversion kinetics in pHluorins as a function of pH and light intensity is presented. The result reveals that the use of pH-sensitive green fluorescent proteins (GFPs) is complicate in the quantitative intracellular measurements.
