Visible light photocatalyst: Iodine-doped mesoporous titania with a bicrystalline framework

Article Abstract:

Iodine-doped mesoporous titania (MTI) with a bicrystalline framework is synthesized by a two-step template hydrothermal route. Results reveal that the existence of rutile phase in titania has less effect on the adsorptive affinity and capacity of surface water and hydroxyl groups when rutile phase possesses comparable crystal size and surface area with anatase phase.

Effect of pore packing defects in 2-D ordered mesoporous carbons on ionic transport

Article Abstract:

The ion diffusion behavior in two different 2-D hexagonal ordered mesoporous materials (OMCs) was investigated by using cyclic voltametry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The experimental results suggest that, for the ion diffusion in the 2-D hexagonal OMCs with similar mesopore size distribution, the pore packing defect is a dominant dynamic factor.
