On measurement of molecular and thermal diffusion coefficients in multicomponent mixtures
Article Abstract:
A new theory is developed for using the deflection of laser beams of various wavelengths to determine molecular and thermal diffusion coefficients in multicomponent mixtures. The derivations are based on the assumption that thermal diffusivity is much greater than molecular diffusivity and it is shown that the molecular and the thermal diffusion coefficients could be determined reliably in a ternary mixture.

Deviations from the normal time regime of single-file diffusion
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to investigate deviations resulting from the normal time regime of single-file diffusion. The proportionality between mean square displacement and the square root of the observation time correlated with single-file systems of infinite extensions. Experimental results indicated that the time dependence of the mean square molecular displacement depended on the nature of the system.

A new strategy for evaluating the self-diffusion coefficient in restricted diffusion: case of polydisperse emulsions with small mean radii
Article Abstract:
A general approach to assessing the polydispersity of droplets and the dispersed phase self-diffusion in emulsion systems is discussed. A new computational approach is proposed to achieve the self-diffusion coefficient and the distribution function simultaneously.
