Perturbation of charge transfer complexes in aqueous solutions of PEG-DNB by adding N-ethylcarbazole and Li(super +1) cations

Article Abstract:

Intramolecular charge-transfer complexation occurring in aqueous solutions of poly monomethyl ether capped at one end with a 3, 5-dinitrobenzoyl group is perturbed by compounds that interact with either the donor PEG chains or the acceptor DNB group. Li(super +) cations form ion-dipole interactions with PEG and remove it from its coiled complex with DNB.

Designing of a urea-containing polymer gel electrolyte based on the concept of activation of the interaction between carrier ion and polymer

Article Abstract:

The interactive effect of the polymer on the ionic species promoted the dissociation of the salt and reduces the ionic mobility, during the progress of gelatin. An idea to design the polymer gel electrolyte that provides a high dissociation degree and cation transport number is proposed.

Neutron scattering investigations on a bimodal polymer gel

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted, by using the small-angle neutron scattering (SANS), to investigate the structural similarities in polyfluorosilicone (PFSi) gels made by different cross-linking procedures. It was found that the scattering response could be described into dynamic and static.
