Phase diagram and glass transition of confined benzene
Article Abstract:
The study about the first complete (d, T) phase diagram of benzene confined in silica-walled MCM-41 and SBA-15 showing the transition temperatures as a function of pore size is presented. Neutron diffraction measurements showed that for benzene the structures of the liquid or the crystal are not noticeably changed under confinement and proton NMR spin-spin and spin-lattice relaxation times show a slowdown of the overall dynamics of the confined phases compared to the bulk.

Cyclohexane and benzene confined in MCM- 41 and SBA- 15: confinement effects on freezing and melting
Article Abstract:
The thermal properties of orientationally disordered crystal forming cyclohexane and benzene confined in highly ordered mesoporous materials MCM- 41 and SBA- 15 are investigated using DSC scans and NMR line shape analysis. The freezing and melting studies on confined fluids showed that multiple parameters intervene for the confinement effects on phase transition.

Cyclohexane-benzene mixtures: Thermodynamics and structure from atomistic simulations
Article Abstract:
All-atom molecular dynamics simulations are used to investigate the mixtures of cyclohexane and benzene. The thermodynamic properties, liquid structure descriptions, which include radial distribution functions and angular correlations, and results for isolated dimer structure and stability are reported.
