Solution properties of hydrophobically-modified phosphorylcholine-based polymers in water and in the presence of surfactants

Article Abstract:

A study on various external stimuli that affect polymer conformation and interpolymeric association by exploiting two photophysical tools like the relative intensity of pyrene excimer and monomer emission and secondly the intrapolymeric quenching of the pyrene emission is presented. The monitoring of photophysics of the polymer in solution of various ionic strengths showing changes in the ionic strengths is also described.

ESR and HRTEM study of carbon-coated nanocrystalline MgO

Article Abstract:

The HRTEM study indicates that the composition of the mineral constituent in the carbon-mineral materials was not changed by the carbon deposition. A singular balanced Lorentzian line owing to carbon deposits has been observed in the ESR range of the carbon-mineral materials.
