Structure and Energetics of Gd (III) Interactions with Water and Ammonia

Article Abstract:

The structure, energetics and spin properties of Gd(III)- ligand interactions in the Gd3+-(NH3) complexes have been examined wherein the quantitative treatment of these interactions is done and the strong polarization of the ligand by the metal center is explained. Spin polarization of the ligand results in the increase of a-electron density on Gd(III)

A Si29 and C13 CP/MAS NMR study on the surfaces species of gas-phase-deposited gamma-aminopropylalkoxysilanes on heat-treated silica

Article Abstract:

The Si29 and C13 cross-polymerization (CP)/ magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR spectroscopy technique is employed to characterize the surface species on silylated silica with different degrees of dehydroxylation, when it is modified with gamma-aminopropylalkoxysilanes from the gas phase at various deposition temperatures.

IR and NMR study of the chemisorption of Ammonia on trimethylaluminum-modified silica

Article Abstract:

The saturating reaction of ammonia is studied with the help of trimethylaluminum (TMS)-modified porous silica. The amount of residual carbon can be decreased by elevating the ammonia reaction temperature.
