Structure characterization of the copper(II) complex of poly(4-vinylpyridine) by a combination of EPR, ENDOR, and molecular modeling techniques

Article Abstract:

A combination of EPR and orientation pulse ENDOR methods provides enough constraints to characterize the structure of the metal center in the copper(II) complex of poly(4-vinylpyridine). The EPR and ENDOR results are supported by the molecular and theoretical techniques provides a detailed account of the principles governing the structure of this macromolecule metal complex than EPR and ENDOR alone.

Photocurrent response of bipyridine containing poly (p-phenylene-vinylene) derivatives

Article Abstract:

The photoinduced charge separation and subsequent transport under an external electric field is studied in the poly[bipyridine/(phenylene-vinylene)] derivatives having vinylene subunits separating the bipyridylene vinylene skeleton. The result reveals that the facile electric-field-induced separation of the electron-hole pair.

Study on the behavior of Hyper-Rayleigh Scattering for silver nanoparticles with aggregation effects

Article Abstract:

The absorption spectra and the Hyper-Rayleigh scattering (HRS) signals of a highly monodisperse 10.5-nm diameter silver colloids are measured with the addition of KNO(sub 3) and pyridine. Strongly enhanced HRS signals are observed by 15x and 6x respectively.
