Linear and nonlinear optical characterization of a tetraphenylporphyrin-carbon nanotube composite system
Article Abstract:
The photophysical and nonlinear optical properties of porphyrin molecules and their single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) composites are reported. It is found that the composite solutions are superior optical limiters to nanotubes alone, and to all porphyrin systems, including metalloporphyrins.

Fast excition migration in phorphyrin-functionalized polypeptides
Article Abstract:
The study investigated the photophysical properties of L-lysine-based polypeptides bearing porphyrin pendants. It revealed that the rate of the excition migration depends on the polymerization degree.
