Synthesis and electrochemical properties of single-crystal V2O5 nanorod arrays by template-based electrodeposition

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted, using electrochemical deposition, to examine the template-growth and electrochemical properties of single-crystal vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) nanorod arrays from VOSO4 aqueous solution. The result reveals that nanorod array electrodes have significantly higher current density and energy storage density than sol-gel-derived V2O5.

Ni-V2O5.nH2O core-shell nanocable arrays for enhanced electrochemical intercalation

Article Abstract:

The study prepared Ni-V2O5.nH2) core-shell nanocable arrays for Li(super +) intercalation applications. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) micrograph shows the Ni core was covered completely by a V2O5.nH2) shell.

Effects of thermal annealing on the Li(super +) intercalation properties of V2O5.nH2O xerogel films

Article Abstract:

V2O5.nH2o films are prepared from the sol-gel H2O2-V2O5 route. The films annealed at different temperatures are demonstrated to behave very differently as host materials for Li(super +) intercalation.
