Temperature-induced deposition method for anchoring metallic nanoparticles onto reflective substrates for in situ electrochemical infrared spectroscopy
Article Abstract:
A temperature-induced deposition method for anchoring metallic nanoparticles onto smooth/reflective polycrystalline Au (Au-poly) and classy carbon (GC) substrates is developed for in situ infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy (IRAS). Characteristic vibrational spectra for CO adsorbed on anchored nanoparticles of Pt/C, Pt3Sn/C, Pt3Mo/C, and Pt2Ru3/C is presented.

Comparison of approximate quantum simulation methods applied to normal liquid helium at 4 K
Article Abstract:
The Feynman-Kleinert linearized path integral molecular dynamics (FK-LPI), ring polymer molecular dynamics (RPMD), and centroid molecular dynamics (CMD) methods are applied to the simulation of normal liquid helium. CMD has described a high-frequency component that is reduced when compared with the other methods.

Experimental and quantum study of adsorption of ozone (03) on amorphous water ice film
Article Abstract:
The adsorption of ozone (O3) molecules on amorphous ice surface at low temperature under a low and constant pressure is studied by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). A single type of site is observed between O3 and ice, which involves the dangling OH bonds of the amorphous ice.
