Thermodynamic stability of chemical species in multiple reaction systems
Article Abstract:
A general thermodynamic and stoichiometric method, which studies the subtle, forms of stability or instability relations among chemical species and also the stability relations in multiple chemical reaction systems is discussed. The overall stabilities can be partitioned into a sum of contributions associated with a complete set of stoichiometrically unique response reactions (RERs).

Multiple autonomous motions synchronized with complex formation
Article Abstract:
A characteristic motion of a 1,10-phenanthroline grain on an FeSO4 aqueous phase is investigated as a fresh example of autonomous motor. Results show that various types of self motion can be designed depending on the relationship between the concentration of the surface active layer and its surface tension, coupled with the chemical reaction.

Slowing and stopping of chemical waves in a narrowing canal
Article Abstract:
The propagation of a chemical wave in a narrow, cone-shaped glass capillary is investigated. A phenomenological model that considers the surface effect of the glass is proposed.
