Penetration and saturation of lysozyme in phospholipid bilayers
Article Abstract:
A useful tool to probe the location of lysozyme in lipid bilayers is provided by the combination of X-ray reflectivity, tryptophan fluorescence spectrum, and fluorescence quenching by bromine. A shallow penetration into the lipid layers by lysozyme is indicated.

Potential of mean force between two molecular ions in a polar molecular solvent: a study by the three-dimensional reference interaction site model
Article Abstract:
Research is presented describing how a three-dimensional reference interaction site model can be used to assess the potential of mean force between two polyatomic solutes immersed in a polar molecular solvent.
