Tripling of the unit cell volume of the non-centrosymmetric AlPO4-SOD after dehydration: A structural study of a reversible process

Article Abstract:

The structure determined from molecular modeling and Rietveld analysis on synchroton data of AlPo4-SOD dehydrated under vacuum at 100 degree Celsius together with some solid state NMR experiments of the rehydrated product is presented. The dehydration/rehydration of AlPo4-SOD, however, is a reversible but very slow process.

Mixed halide sodalite solid solution systems. Hydrothermal synthesis and structural characterization by solid state NMR:

Article Abstract:

The X-ray diffraction and solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is used to study the solid solution behavior of mixed halide sodalite systems as prepared by hydrothermal synthesis. New insights into the nature of the nuclear magnetic shielding in compounds with predominantly ionic bonding, as offered by the results.

Structural investigation by multinuclear solid state NMR and X-ray diffraction of as-synthesized, dehydrated, and calcined AlPO4-SOD

Article Abstract:

AlPO4-SOD, a microporous aluminophosphate, is synthesized in a quasi-nonaqueous medium using dimethylformamide as solvent and template. The as-synthesized, dehydrated, and calcined materials and the corresponding rehydrated phases are investigated by various solid-state NMR and powder X-ray diffraction techniques.
