(super 27)Al and (super 19)F solid-state NMR studies of zeolite H-beta dealuminated with ammonium hexafluorosilicate

Article Abstract:

The dealumination of zeolite H-beta by ammonium hexafluorosilicate treatment [(NH4)2SiF6, AHFS)] is investigated by (super 27)Al and (super 19)F solid-state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), combined with (super 27)Al/(super 19)F double resonance NMR. The NMR results revealed that the experimental conditions of AHFS dealumination, that is, in the presence and absence of ammonium acetate (NH4OAc), strongly affected the amount, state, and nature of extraframework aluminum (EFAI) species.

Direct solid-state NMR spectroscopic evidence for the N[H.sub.4]Al[F.sub.4] crystalline phase derived from zeolite HY dealuminated with ammonium hexafluorosilicate

Article Abstract:

A modified technique based on the thermal treatment of ground mixtures of zeolite N[H.sub.4]Y and crystalline AHFS in the solid state is reported. The formation of N[H.sub.4]Al[F.sub.4] in crystalline phase was identified in addition to ([N[H.sub.4].sub.2]Al[F.sub.6] which could be derived from zeolite HY dealuminated with an aqueous AHFS solution at 80 degree Celsius.

Rapid synthesis of MFI zeolite nanocrystals

Article Abstract:

A rapid synthesis procedure for nonagglomerated silicate nanocrystals is developed. The simple modification was very effective in preventing the aggregation of precursor particles into colloidal zeolite, and the silicate produced appeared as transparent and fully dispersible nonagglomerated nanocrystals.
