Claisen rearrangement over the past nine decades
Article Abstract:
The use of the Claisen rearrangement in the preparation of a wide range of synthetically interesting building blocks and natural or biologically active compounds are considered. It is concluded that the understanding and applications of the Claisen and Claisen-related rearrangements have considerably advanced over the past nine decades.
