Theory of single-molecule spectroscopy: beyond the ensemble average
Article Abstract:
A variety of physical, biophysical, chemical phenomena can be investigated using single-molecule spectroscopy (SMS). Research demonstrates that the SMS theory is a complementary field of research to describe optical spectroscopy in a condensed phase.

Single-molecule probing of adsorption and diffusion on silica surfaces
Article Abstract:
The application of single-molecule spectroscopy in the chromatography techniques helps to locate the adsorption sites that cause problems in the technique of chromatography. The silica surface is found to contain these defective sites.
