N-glycosylation processing and glycoprotein folding-lessons from the tyrosinase-related proteins
Article Abstract:
The authors review the publications on protein folding which occurs co- and posttranslationally and is assisted by chaperones. The topics of interest include tyrosinase and and tyrosinase-related proteins and the role of endoplasmic reticulum chaperones in the glycoprotein folding and degradation in vivo.
