Three-dimensional aromaticity in polyhedral boranes and related molecules
Article Abstract:
The purpose of this review is to summarize different approaches to the chemical bonding in the deltahedral boranes and related species. The concept of aromaticity developed for the two-dimensional carbon compounds and extended to the third dimension in boron chemistry has been analyzed and discussed.

Quantitative measures of aromaticity for mono-, bi-, and tricyclic penta- and hexaatomic heteroaromatic ring systems and their interrelationships
Article Abstract:
The article focuses on the principle methods applied to the obtaining the quantitative measures of aromaticity. The experimental measurements of the energy, geometries, magnetic properties and quantum chemical calculations corresponding to all of these experimental approaches have been surveyed and discussed.

Spherical aromaticity: Recent work on fullerenes, polyhedral boranes, and related structures
Article Abstract:
Immense efforts are made to develop various criteria of aromaticity and these criteria are used not only to explain the available experimental observations but also to design novel aromatics. Extending the aromaticity concept from the classical two dimensional annulenes to spherical species opens a new exciting research area with particular emphasis on fullerenes and closo-boranes.
