Transport spectroscopy of chemical nanostructures: The case of metallic single-walled carbon nanotubes
Article Abstract:
Transport spectroscopy, a technique based on current-voltage measurements of individual nanostructures in three-terminal transistor geometry, has emerged as a powerful new tool to investigate the electronic properties of chemically derived nanostructures. The utility of the technique is presented using the studies of single-nanotube transistors.

Time-resolved spectroscopy of organic dendrimers and branched chromophores
Article Abstract:
The nonlinear optical and excited state dynamics of different dendritic and other branching chromophore structures are discussed. The study focuses on the aspect of intramolecular interactions in a branched system and its importance to enhanced nonlinear optical effects useful for modern optical devices.
