Super-slim handheld computers prove heavyweights at comdex

Article Abstract:

Handheld computers are enjoying greater demand among consumers. This trend was highlighted at Comdex/Fall 1998, which also featured the integration of computer, communications and other technologies as a major theme. Thinner models, which are called 'notepad computers' by some companies, are increasing in popularity among users. The exhibit also showed the growing use of flat-panel displays.
