Enterprise help desks
Article Abstract:
People, process, technology and organization are the four critical elements that IT support managers should take into account when redefining their service organizations. All of the four elements figure prominently in the successful implementation of a service management function. However, most support organizations focus only on technology to remedy their support problems. They should be reminded that technology is essential only to ensure that organizational processes are carried out. The ideal technology solution for them is one that aligns people and processes to the demands of a customer base.
