High availability: the next generation
Article Abstract:
There is a growing need for application availability, which is spreading from the traditional Unix environments to organizations that run Windows NT. The latter may be cheaper and easier to manage than Unix but it does not have Unix's robustness and reliability. Those who are interested in running mission-critical applications on NT are waiting for further developments on NT clustering products and system management tools.
