Membership unrest threatens HDI
Article Abstract:
The Help Desk Institute (HDI) is being restructured in response to the growing discontent from among its 4,000 members. According to several members, the biggest problem with HDI is the lack of communication from its leadership. Ziff-Davis Assn, the parent of HDI, has assigned its managing director, Bill Rose, to examine HDI's internal problems and to lead the reorganization. Despite these efforts, some HDI members are considering leaving the organization.
