On Display at the ICA

Article Abstract:

The 1983 International Communications Association Show was held in Anaheim from June first to the third. Six pages of pictures and descriptions of many of the high-tech models are shown. Among them are Xerox's Memorywriter 630 and Extel's ComMaster terminals plus systems such as Anaconda-Ericsson's MD110 and ACTION-Honeywell's Roadrunner Digital switching systems. Other products include Racon's microwave communications link, Compression Labs' teleconferencing system, and RCA's Cyclix network service.

Laserdisc and Library Compose Vimart Display

Article Abstract:

An objective review of software by Apple, Atari, Commodore Vic 20, 64, and IBM PC is provided by Vimart Corp. marketing system. It is made up of a laserdisc video display, and a three part retailers' library, which reviews, recommends, and lists distributor and manufacturer information. The video display is controlled by a simple key pad. A photograph of the product is included in the article.

Computerised Display Boosts Plant Productivity

Article Abstract:

A computerized performance display system was designed and installed by Aughton Systems Engineering. Three color monitor displays are attached to an Apple II computer and in an office. The performance of the machines is measured and compared with targets and achievements of earlier shifts. Keying data in keeps the information current.
