IBM aims Corepoint at CRM market

Corepoint Technologies, which was formed through the acquisition of Software Artistry Inc by an IBM subsidiary, is being groomed by IBM Corp for the customer relationship management (CRM) market. The new company will operate as a separate business unit of IBM and will centered around Sotware Artistry's line of CRM solutions. Corepoint will be based in Indianapolis, IN, and will be headed by former Software Artistry CEO W. Scott Webber.

Network professionals call out for professional growth
Article Abstract:
Many computer network support professionals are dissatisfied with their jobs, according to a survey by International Network Services. The survey found 44% of the respondents to be either 'very unsatisfied' or 'somewhat unsatisfied' with their current positions. Nearly 20% complained of the lack of opportunities and a slightly smaller percentage expressed dissatisfaction with professional growth opportunities.
