Samsung Electronics Company Ltd.'s ER-5100 ECR is touted as appropriated for cafeteria or fast-food businesses with features common to all models of the series. The machine offers functions such as ten-digit front and rear displays, eight-digit random access codes and six-digit passwords. ER-5100 ECR features two-station dot-matrix printers and 50-item buffers for the receipt, plus the capability of tracking four clerks in standard configuration. The machine is separated from other models in the series with its data capacities and keyboards, covering 321 departments at three levels, using 12-character description and tracking 1,000 price look-up codes.
