Sharp projector, PC meet keen demand for mobile presentations
Article Abstract:
Sharp offers the NoteVision XG-NV2 and XG-NV3 mobile projectors, which are small enough to fit in a carrying case that also contains Sharp's PC-M200 notebook computer. The 6.6kg projectors measure only 261 x 137 x 329mm, but can cast images that measure up to 7.65 diagonally. The projectors feature long-life 120W Ultra Hight Power lamps which are designed to save space and generate minimum excess heat without the use of fans. The products run on all international power standards and accommodate NTSC, SECAM and PAL video formats.

Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd of Japan is introducing its Panasonic PT-l797 XGA LCD projector as a device that will allow presentations to be conducted using normal lighting. The projector, the only one weighing below 10 kgs that is capable of delivering 1,600 ANSI lumens, features flexibility and ease of operations. Matsushita's Panasonic PT-L797 uses the company's BriteOptic Dual Lamp System technology that combines the power of two light sources.
