Sharp Corp's participation at CeBIT '99 in Hannover, Germany, from Mar 18, 1999 to Mar 24, 1999, highlighted its products' compact but versatile features. The company's display included its HC-4600A handheld palmtop computer that incorporates such softwares as MPEG Player and PC File Viewer. Other items at the exhibit include the UX-310 and UX-470 fax machines, the AL-1220 and AL-1520 digital laser copiers and the XG-NV5XE LCD video and data projector.

Uchida Yoko Company Ltd showcased a number of versatile office equipment at CeBIT '99 in Hannover, Germany, from Mar 18, 1999 to Mar 24, 1999. The items shown include the Petit Series line of paper shredders that feature silent operations and automatic start and stop characteristics. Other items exhibited include the UC-1000 desktop collator, the Tapit-W automatic bundler, the F-45A paper folder and the VS-200 paper drilling device.
