Banner campaign touts e-commerce moving site

Article Abstract:

Public Storage Inc will introduce on Jun 11, 2001 a banner campaign to build awareness for its new moving services and to generate sales for its new e-commerce Web site. The Glendale, CA-based storage company will place banner advertisements on Yahoo. As an incentive to use the services, Public Storage will offer three discounted specials, namely a $50 discounted airline voucher for self storage, $50 off for pick-up service plus a $100 airline voucher and $100 off long-distance moving plus a $200 discounted airline voucher.

Campaign a catalyst for extra 'Josie' buzz

AOL Moviefone is finishing an online campaign with Coca-Cola Co's Diet Coke to promote the movie, 'Josie and the Pussycats,' which stars Rosario Dawson. The campaign, which included banner ads, an e-mail newsletter and a sweepstakes, gave moviegoers a chance to see an advance screening of the film in 20 cities across the country. Diet Coke and AOL Moviefone plans to team up again for Julia Robert's film, 'America's Sweerhearts.'

Ongoing e-mail campaign ages well for Geerlings & Wade

Article Abstract:

Geerlings and Wade, a Canton, MA-based wine ratailer, has disclosed that a year-old e-mail effort has helped increase its online sales and lower the marketer's catalog expenses. The company reported that the e-mails helped raise online sales to $1.18 million for 1st qtr 2001. up from $965,000 during last year's first quarter. Meanwhile, Internet sales accounted for 16% of all sales, compared with 11% in 2000.
