Article Abstract:
Geologist Brian Atwater of the U.S. Geological Survey explains that the U.S. West Coast is a likely spot to be struck by a tsunami in spite of a warning system, as shown by the hit in 1964. Hal Mojfeld, a scientist with National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, and Lois Keating-Fisher, owner of Cass' Marina in Sausalito, California, and Kimbera Eldridge, operations manager of Santa Cruz Harbor, discuss the impact of the tsunami threat on marine businesses.
