Surrey Institute of Art & Design: the architect

Article Abstract:

Architect Robin Snell does not look at projects in terms of scale. He would like his small practice to undertake larger projects, but is aware that there are dangers associated with expanding too rapidly. He spent four years as project architect on Glyndebourne Opera House, and regards this as very valuable experience. However, he was also glad to become independent, and gained commissions very rapidly after establishing his practice in 1993.
