Fax bill would cancel written-permission rule
Article Abstract:
A U.S. bill introduced in mid June 2004 would eliminate a rule that required marketers to obtain written permission before sending faxes. The bill gave the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) discretion to exempt nonprofit trade association from the requirement.
