What can adjudicators do?
Article Abstract:
Some adjudicators working within the UK construction industry remain uncertain about their role and their responsibilities. Adjudicators are particularly concerned about the issue of enforcement. The Construction Act requires adjudicators to reach a decision, but there is still uncertainty about what the exact meaning of a decision is. Some observers believe that legislation should be amended to make it completely clear that the parties must immediately comply with the ruling of the adjudicator.
