Making metal work for you

Article Abstract:

An increasingly broader variety of metal roofing systems has become available in the market in 2000. Industry observers have noted the shift toward the use of modular, shingle-type metal products and the continuing trend toward the use of proven, low-gloss paint finishes in both painted panels or modular metal roofing materials. Statistics indicate that metal roofing, which offers a considerable number of benefits over traditional roofing systems, is enjoying increasing popularity in both the commercial and residential markets in the US.

What MRA's national campaign means to you

Article Abstract:

The Metal Roofing Alliance launched a national, consumer, cable television advertising campaign in 1999 to demonstrate the considerable benefits of metal roofing systems beyond aesthetics and cost. The campaign resumed in Feb 2000, and the MRA has also increased industry exposure in the consumer market through print and broadcast advertsing efforts. Metal roofs are more resistant to hail, fire, high winds, and extreme heat than most other roofing options. Thus, they make for lifelong roofing protection for dwellings.
