Firms team to improve data quality

USinternetworking Inc and Group 1 Software have entered into a partnership agreement that involves the development and management of DataQuality.net, a new Web transactional portal. DataQuality is aimed at offering e- commerce businesses and e-tailers with real-time customer data quality and data enrichment solutions for e-commerce and enterprisewide applications. The portal's beta testing is scheduled for early summer 2000.

Merkle Direct Marketing partners with E.piphany

Merkle Direct Marketing Inc and San Mateo, CA-based E.piphany Inc have formed an alliance for the marketing of E.piphany's E.4 business software solution. Under the terms of the deal, database marketing service provider Merkle has agreed to be a ceritifed application provider for the E.4 software. E.piphany's E.4 software allows companies to mine customer databases in order to create effective marketing strategies.

Epsilon, Microstrategy form partnership

Article Abstract:

Epsilon, a database marketing services provider based in Burlington, MA, has reportedly teamed up with MicroStrategy Inc., a Vienna, VA-based relational online analytical processing vendor, to provide turnkey solutions for enterprise relationship management. The partnership aims to assist financial services, retail, catalog and telecommunications companues. Both firms are already collaborating to solve clients' marketing problems, help in planning and provide information on the performance of a campaign. Epsilon is set to combine MicroStrategy's DSS products into pre-packaged customer relationship management solutions for vertical markets. The first product, which will target retailers, is slated to roll out in a few weeks.
