HK airport claim spirals
Article Abstract:
The 835 million pounds sterling Chek Lap Kok airport terminal building is being built very quickly, and this means that changes are inevitably arising as construction takes place. Contractor BCJ is currently preparing claims for up to 120 million pounds sterling in compensation for variations on the scheme. Construction is now due to be completed in Sep 1997, but could last until Dec 1997 if BCJ receives a contract to extend the terminal building.
