DMA Pres and CEO H. Robert Wientzen said Internet marketing is a potentially lucrative market, predicting the number of Web users to soar to over 300 million from 150 million in 1998. An IBM Corp official spoke about his company's electronic commerce business, which rose in value from $35 million in Jan 1998 to $1.2 billion in Dec 1998.
