The new deals
Article Abstract:
UK construction materials firms have traditionally been excluded from the partnering deals that have been established elsewhere in the construction industry. However, they are now beginning to focus on long-term, national agreements that give them the security to test more effective ways of supplying construction firms. It is now being recognized that partnering with materials firms brings enhanced quality and reduced costs in the form of rebates for contractors, as long as there are guaranteed year-on-year sales volumes.
