1993-97 Ford Probe

Article Abstract:

Ford Motor Co's 1993-1997 Probe models represents a significant improvement over the 1989-1992 generation of these cars. The latest generation delivers considerable punch and prowess for its price. Acceleration is excellent with the agile GT's V-6 engine and standard five-speed gearbox. Action from the four-cylinder engine is at least adequate with manual shift. Base model handling is secure and sporty. Visibility is better than in most sports coupes.

1990-97 Lincoln Town Car

Article Abstract:

Ford Motor Co's 1990-1997 Lincoln Town Car models sport a new V-8 engine but can hardly be classified as sprinters from a standstill position since they weigh over two tons. However, they exhibit strong acceleration and passing power once they are up and running. New suspension and additional upgrades to improve this generation's handling are in the form of a Ride Control system, yet these models retain much of their tendency for excessive body roll.
